Air Conditioners

Ecodesign requirements for room air conditioning appliances were published in 2012. The energy label Regulation for air conditioners was published in 2011 and repeals Directive 2002/31/EC.

The first tier of ecodesign requirements entered into force on 1st January 2013, together with the energy label.
