Hobs hoods and ovens

An ecodesign Regulation on hobs, range hoods and ovens was published in January 2014. The ecodesign requirements on these products entered into force in January 2015.

The energy label Regulation for range hoods and ovens was also published in January 2014. It repealed Directive 2002/40/EC. From early 2015, range hoods and ovens have to bear an energy label when placed on the EU market.

In May 2015, the final implementation guidelines accompanying these two regulations were released by the Commission.
